Anyone else here have to start up FFXIV a couple times after you logged in and started the game client? When i get past those, the game screen comes and says the square-enix thing then screen gos black forever. I have to exit and re-do alot of times just to get it to work.

Interestingly enough this rarely happens to me when I login, however it seems to happen pretty much every single time when I logout. I have to ALT-F4 anytime I want to quit else I stare at a black screen.

Mine has been getting worse and worse, i have to restart it like 10x to get it to work. I might have to re-install the client.

Today I tried to connect to the game and at first I got that issue. Then I tried again and had the same thing. On my third attempt I connected fine but had terrible ping. On my fourth attempt it was completely fine.

My theory is that it randomly picks a server for you to connect to after login and some of them are probably overloaded at the moment or are simply bad for your location on the internet. Just a theory but it would explain it.
