Squeenix deserves a pat on the shoulder for doing something about the annoying RMT spammers in the game so far. Having said that, it's still a long way to go before we can drive them all away. I've reported a lot of them in the past and I continue to do so but it made me ask myself, "Is that enough?" NO, obviously not---thanks to the players who keep on buying from them. ]

Not trying to be preachy here. If they want to spend RL money on gil, that's their prerogative. If people really want to buy gil, maybe they could go to companies who work outside of the game like ige and the like instead. At least then, we'd have incidents of spamming and account hacking reduced.
