Jory  Finally got my new rig together today. First thing I did was run the FFXIV benchmark. Got a cool 4500~ on high. I'm stoked!

Correct, sir. Here's the rundown;

Radeon 5850 765Mhz
i5 750 @2.66ghz (for now...)
4GB of Gskill Ripjaw RAM
Kingston SSD (64GB)
Corsair 750 watt PSU
Asus P7P55D-E
500GB WD HDD

HDMI Monitor running everything in 1080p 1920x1080 native. Cost me a little under 1600 Canadollars. I'm going to be doing some tuning on my weekend to see how far I can push this thing.

Very nice! did you do benchmark in windowed mode or full screen? You can probably score alot higher in full screen mode

Ah yeah the benchmark has a bug right now where ati cards score a few thousand points higher than they should. That's still a crazy beastly setup.

    Hmm. That sounds like it could be anything really. Are you seeing anything in the event viewer logs? Specifically the Application ones.

    i hav simimliar specs to u except i got a radeon 5770 or something. and it wont leme play ff14/.
    i just cant get it to work i been downloadin patches through utorrent but no luck. as soon as i click the client it gives me lil black box then crashes 3sec later
